Dr. Joybert Javnyuy Among The Top 100 Coaches Africa by GABI Magazine

Close to 15 years ago, I started having this drive to gather young people in my community and church and talk with them about things and areas I noticed we all needed to improve in. This was in Kumbo, a semi-urban town in the Northwest Region of Cameroon with electricity that was rationed at the time and internet access only in particular areas.

At that time, I had no idea there were people known in this world as Coaches, Inspirational Speakers, Consultants, or any of these beautiful titles. I had never traveled out of my hometown then. However, by some means, I started doing all these. Even the people in my community did not understand what I was doing.

I remember organizing coaching sessions with small business owners, and I would have to go to their houses the previous days to plead with them to come the next day as agreed. Some would show up and some would not. There were times when no one showed up.

Fast forward to 2024, by the grace of God, I have traveled to 20 countries to speak, train, coach, and consult. I have delivered virtual sessions with clients and partners in countries I am still yet to visit. My efforts powered by God’s grace have expanded beyond local borders, reaching a global audience over the years.

I always say, I see the work I do as a calling. I am very convinced I am anointed for this work. I have so many stories to show. Things have happened in my journey that when I look back, I can only say, this is the hand of God.

I started all these without knowing I would be on TVs, magazines, newspapers, podcasts, or even winning awards. I had no idea these things existed. Today, I have been featured in over 100 media houses including BBC, Voice of America, Pan African Magazine, Obama Foundation, and more. I have received 45 awards and recognitions from across the world. 8 times published author.

A few days ago, I got a notification that I have been selected and recognized among The Top 100 Coaches in Africa List by GABI Magazine.
